This site serves as the official site of the grassroots Justice for Kids Initiative. There are many people who are contributing to moving this initiative forward with the clear goal to stop the suspension of elementary aged children within the Omaha Public Schools District (OPS). The suspension rates within the OPS District disproportionally impact children of color and many changes need to be made to ensure that all children within the district have the best chance to receive a great education! Our Mission Statement:

To advocate for the elimination of all suspensions and expulsions for children pre-K through 2nd grade and to seek accountability from all stakeholders including parents, administrators, educators, children and the community in achieving this goal.
